In only a few years SolarWorld AG developed from the former trading
company to a solar group with a fully integrated solar value chain
process from solar silicon as the raw material to high quality solar
power generating systems.
Today
the Group benefits from the fact that it banked on the build-up of the
entire solar value chain: The Group now has advanced factories to
comprehensively supply the expanding solar market. Within the
SolarWorld-group more than 759 people are employed in Bonn, Freiberg
and in Sweden - with the trend continuing to rise.
