Dongfang manufactures and sells hydro and steam power generators and AC/DC electric motors. The Company also provides repair, upgrade, maintenance, and other services. It has been listed among the 225 largest international contractors. The generating equipments of Dongfang have the yearly capacity of 10,000MW it is capable of producing the large thermal power generating units of 300MW and 600MW and water turbine generator sets of 400MW and 550MW in batch quantity. At present, Dongfang Electric Corporation of China has more than 30% of the domestic market of the large main engine thermal power stations. In addition to the Company’s main businesses, it is also involved in the business of high-voltage high-power frequency conversion, treatment of city pollution, the driving engine of electrical car, environmental protection and DCS control system of power generating stations.
