Founded
in 1997, S-Network Global Indexes LLC, is a developer of benchmark
indexes that are designed to isolate key global investment themes and
concepts and measure their performance. Either directly or through
affiliated companies, S-Network also provides consulting services to stock
exchanges, index providers and developers of index products, including
futures, options and exchange traded funds. Since
its founding in 1997, S-Network has been engaged by a number of the
largest and most prominent financial services organizations in the
world, including UBS, Deutsche Borse, the American Stock Exchange,
State Street Bank & Trust and Deutsche Bank. The
principals of S-Network have extensive experience in the field of
indexes and index-based investment products. This experience includes
responsibility for index arbitrage operations at several major
investment banks, the development and introduction of over 20 Exchange
Traded Funds in the US and Europe, including the first open-end mutual fund approved for listing on a US
stock exchange and participation in the structuring of index market
segments for major stock and derivative exchanges around the world. Either
through various joint ventures or under its own brand, S-Network
currently publishes over 30 indexes that isolate and measure discrete
sectors of the global economy. These indexes have been
licensed to asset managers and investment banks around the world and
serve as the underlying indexes for ETFs, Notes, Certificates, UITs and
mutual funds.
